Dilly Bread



Dilly Bread

1 pkg yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup cottage cheese (warmed)
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp minced onion
1 tbsp butter
2 tsp dill weed
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 egg
2 1/4 - 2 1/2 cups flour

In a large bowl, soften yeast in warm water.  Add cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill, salt, soda and egg.  Add flour and beat with a mixer until stiff.  Add remainder of flour.  Let rise.  Stir down and turn into a well-greased casserole.  Let rise a second time.  Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
